1.7. Default vibration and sound notification

By default, every time the phone releases its password to the computer, the phone vibrates and issues a specific audio signal. This allows users to be aware when passwords are automatically released to the computer based on proximity of the phone. Sound and vibration can be configured in the phone app’s settings.

When multi-factor authorization is enabled for accounts marked with “Require PIN code/Touch ID,” the computer sends a notification to the phone to request explicit authorization for access to credentials from these accounts. The default phone notification sound and vibration are triggered to indicate that user attention is required.
