2.14. How to enter and save credentials manually

There are three ways to add a site/credential to the KeyReel Password Vault:

2.14.1. In the KeyReel browser extension menu

See the Save credentials for current site menu item. This method saves an additional credential for the current site:

2.14.2. In the KeyReel Mac App’s menu

Click Extended -> Create account… in the menu. Use this method to save credentials to any native application.

Insert saved credentials using the Secure Clipboard-Sharing feature.

Hint

In the “site” field, use the name of the application:

2.14.3. In the KeyReel Phone App

In the “Keys” tab (keysButton), click the + in the top right corner of the screen. Use this method to add credentials when your computer is not nearby:

You can type a password or use a password generator (genPasswordButton) to create new strong password:

Touch a randomly generated string to insert it as a new password. Use password generator’s controls to increase or decrease a password complexity:

You can add a multiline note message to the account. Finally, press Save button. As the result, you will get a newly created account record:
